Vladimir danced principal roles with Moscow Classical Ballet, Vienna State Opera Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, American Ballet Theater, and Stuttgart Ballet. In 2004 Vladimir was appointed as the artistic director of Staatsballett Berlin.
