David Dawson is a British choreographer with critically acclaimed works praised worldwide as his choreographic style transfigures classical ballet into new forms of movement. He is an Associate Artist with the Dutch National Ballet and Semperoper Ballett. His choreography has been in repertoires of numerous companies worldwide, such as Staatsballett Berlin, Teatro alla Scala, Mariinsky Ballet, and many more. His numerous awards include The Isadora Duncan Dance Award, Golden Mask Award, Benois de la Danse Choreography Award, and Alicia Markova Award.
