Isabelle Ciaravola is an étoile of the Paris Opera Ballet and a master teacher at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. A native of Corsica, France, she entered the Paris Opera Ballet School at 16 after winning the First Prize from the Paris Conservatory. Upon graduation, Isabelle joined the Paris Opera Ballet and was soon promoted to principal dancer. Isabelle's numerous principal roles included Nikya in La Bayadère, Manon Lescault in Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias, Tatiana in John Cranko's Onegin, and many leading roles in La Sylphide, Giselle, Don Quixote, and other ballets. Isabelle was awarded the Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters and the Knight of the National Order of the Legion of Honor for her contribution to the arts. In addition to her dance career, Isabelle has authored Isabelle Ciaravola's collection of designer dancewear for the Ballet Rosa brand.
