Krzysztof Pastor is a highly accomplished Polish dancer, choreographer, and ballet director. He was a resident choreographer with the Dutch National Ballet and is now the director of Polish National Ballet since 2009. He simultaneously directed Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater for nine years. Krzysztof danced as a soloist with Polish Dance Theater, Lyon Opera Ballet, and Dutch National Ballet, and performed works by George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Frederick Ashton, and many others. He was awarded with Dansersfonds '79 Choreography Prize and received three nominations to the prestigious international Prix Benois de la Danse.
