Vladimir Malakhov is a world-renowned ballet dancer who performs worldwide as a guest artist as well as choreographs and stages ballets for top professional companies. Vladimir danced principal roles with Moscow Classical Ballet, Vienna State Opera Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, American Ballet Theater, and Stuttgart Ballet. In 2004 Vladimir was appointed as the artistic director of Staatsballett Berlin. Vladimir’s accolades include awards from Varna International Ballet Competition, Moscow International Ballet Competition, USA International Ballet Competition, Premia Positano di Danza, Prix Benois de la Danse, and Vaslav Nijinsky Prize. He was named “Best Male Dancer in the World” for three consecutive years by Japan’s Dance Magazine.
